User-Generated Content

313 Muslim is a community platform — the content you create is yours. We respect your ownership while requiring a licence to operate the service.

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all original content you post, share, or upload to the Platform (“User Content”), including text, images, videos, and audio. We make no claim of ownership over your creative work.

Licence to 313 Muslim

By posting User Content on the Platform, you grant 313 Muslim a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, display, reproduce, distribute, and adapt your content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Platform. This licence ends when you delete your content or account, except where your content has been shared by others (in which case copies may persist in their feeds).

Your Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and suitability of your User Content.
  • You confirm that you hold all necessary rights, licences, and permissions for content you post.
  • You will not post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • You understand that 313 Muslim may review, edit, or remove content that violates these Terms.
  • Quranic quotes and hadith must be accurately attributed. Do not misquote or fabricate religious texts.
5

Intellectual Property

All Platform infrastructure, design assets, branding, logos, software, source code, and proprietary features — excluding User Content — are the exclusive intellectual property of 313 Muslim and its licensors, protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • The “313 Muslim” name, logo, and associated brand assets are registered trademarks. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
  • You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform's code or design without express written permission.
  • The Platform's Quran integration features, data structures, and algorithmic outputs are proprietary to 313 Muslim.
  • Academic or journalistic use of Platform features in a nominative, non-commercial manner may be permitted with prior written consent.

If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed on the Platform, please contact us at legal@313muslim.com with a detailed description and we will investigate promptly.

6

Privacy & Data

Your privacy is important to us and fundamental to how we operate. Our full Privacy Policy governs how we collect, store, process, and protect your personal information.

Key privacy principles we follow:

  • We collect only the data necessary to provide you with the Service.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
  • You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time.
  • We apply industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information.
  • We respect the concept of amanah (trust) — your data is held in safekeeping, not exploited.
7

Termination of Access

Either you or 313 Muslim may terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

Termination by You

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time via your Account Settings page. Upon deletion, your profile and personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy within 30 days. Content you have shared may remain visible if others have interacted with it, until individually removed.

Termination by 313 Muslim

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have:

  • Violated any provision of these Terms or the Content Policy.
  • Engaged in conduct harmful to other users, the community, or the integrity of the Platform.
  • Provided false registration information or impersonated another person.
  • Caused legal, regulatory, or reputational risk to 313 Muslim.
  • Repeatedly received reports from the community for violations despite prior warnings.

Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — shall survive.

8

Limitations of Liability & Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 313 Muslim, its directors, employees, partners, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, reputational harm, or personal injury — arising from or related to your use of the Platform.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

313 Muslim is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any User Content posted on the Platform. Religious content posted by users, including Islamic rulings (fatwas), scholarly opinions, or religious advice, represents the views of individual users only and does not constitute official religious guidance from 313 Muslim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
